Contact Your Senators TODAY! Vote on FMAP expected Monday

HFAM needs YOUR help today! On Monday evening, the Senate is scheduled to vote on a proposal to extend the temporary increase in the Federal Medical Assistance Percentage (FMAP) through June 30, 2011. Therefore, it is extremely important that you and your colleagues send letters TODAY asking your two U.S. Senators to support this critical legislation.

Passing this legislation will allow states to avert Medicaid cuts at a time when the economic recession requires a strong safety net.
